Anthony Arquin is a partner at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg and the coordinator of the Commercial Real Estate and Secured Lending practice group in the Montreal office of Davies. He advises developers, managers, and pension funds on the acquisition and sale of commercial real estate, project development, and joint ventures. He has extensive experience with mixed-use complexes and commercial condominiums. Anthony was named the Real Estate Lawyer of the Year in 2024 in Montreal by Best Lawyers in Canada. He has also been recognized by The Legal 500 Canada as one of the 11 Canadian lawyers on the Leading Lawyers list in real estate law, being the only Quebec lawyer to be included in this ranking. He serves on the board directorship of the Urban Development Institute of Quebec (UDI) and on the Montreal Real Estate Foundation for Youth (FIMJ).
With more than 40 years sales’s experience, project financing, and real estate ventures, Mr. Angers possesses strong leadership skills, exemplified by his pivotal role in the development of RBC Capital Markets’ Real Estate Group in Quebec and Canada. Throughout his career, Mr. Angers has overseen numerous large-scale transactions across all asset classes and provided strategic guidance to his clients through various economic and real estate cycles. Responsible for institutional, public, and private accounts in Montreal and throughout Canada, he has successfully closed transactions totaling over $3 billion in a decade, forging enduring relationships of trust with his clients. With over 21 years of involvement with the Diabetic Children’s Resource Foundation, Mr. Angers has raised more than $3 million for diabetic children, demonstrating his philanthropic values.
Élise Beauchesne began her career as a chartered accountant with an international accounting firm and then, worked in consulting, focusing on corporate finance, restructuring, and bankruptcy. In 2009, Ms. Beauchesne founded SolutionCondo, a thriving company that has established itself in the condominium market. Since then, she has been actively involved in managing complex mandates and leading the management team of SolutionCondo and its subsidiaries. To make a concrete contribution to the evolution of condominium practices in Quebec, Ms. Beauchesne is engaged in many projects within professional associations, most notably the Association Québécoise des Gestionnaires de Copropriétés, which she founded in 2019. She has also contributed to several reports, including a recent one submitted to the Government of Quebec as part of Bill 16, aimed at defending the interests of co-owners.
Mr. Laramée has been actively involved in the real estate industry for over 40 years. A graduate of McGill University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and an MBA, as well as a master’s degree in building engineering from Concordia University’s Centre for Building Studies, Mr. Laramée has held key roles in major organizations such as FPI Cominar, Ivanhoe Cambridge, Cadim, SNC-Lavalin, Westcliff Group, and The Walt Disney Company. Throughout his career, he has overseen numerous real estate projects, including the development of new buildings and the expansion and repositioning of existing properties, covering all asset classes. Mr. Laramée has also been elected Chairman of the Board of the Urban Development Institute of Quebec (UDI) twice and proudly serves on the board of the Quebec Cancer Foundation. Since 2022, Mr. Laramée has worked as a real estate consultant and has served as a director in various companies. He is currently participating in the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program (DEP) to obtain the IAS.A certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
